硬貨

* あまりの人気に、100円玉を集金袋に詰めて毎日何十袋も銀行に納めに行くため、当時の社員のほとんどが腰痛に悩まされた（袋いっぱいに詰めると10kgは下らない）。
* この為日本全国から100円硬貨が不足気味となり、大蔵省・日本銀行・造幣局もこの時期に、通常の傾向とは無関係に100円を多く鋳造する事になった。ただし、最も多く鋳造されたのは、インベーダーブームと関係の無い1973年～1974年である。
* 集金袋を回収するのにライトバンではとうてい間に合わず、4トントラックで回収を行っていた。しかしその4トントラックですら間に合わず、トラックの板バネサスペンションが100円玉の重みに耐えきれず、曲がってしまう事故が頻発していた。
* トラックから機械や硬貨を上げ下げすることから腰痛を患う者が続出したため、三菱ふそうに相談してトラックの後部に電動リフトを特注で製作することとなった。実はこのリフトが今日一般的にトラックに見られるリフトの元祖で、日本（世界?）で最初に発明したのはタイトーである。[要出典]また、タイトーは「今後の世の中への貢献」を理由にこれについてのパテントなどを取得していない。
